All used instruments sold at MICNAP have been repadded or mechanically overhauled unless otherwise noted and are in TOP playing condition. This process includes complete disassembly and cleaning; removal of dents; leveling, straightening, and refitting of keys and posts; silver and nickel plated keys, bodies, and posts are buffed to a high luster; wood bodies are treated; all pads, corks, and felts are replaced, and springs are replaced as necessary; instrument is reassembled with lubrication; pads are leveled and seated, and instrument is regulated, adjusted, and thoroughly test played.
